What is the strategic significance and thinking behind Inter-Alliance International (IAI) entering the international IFA Network market through this deal with OFS WorldNet?
A. IAI’s stated mission is to become the dominant provider of international independent advice. To achieve this aim, we must grow our distribution capability by attracting and retaining the best international IFAs. However, many established international IFAs prefer to operate their own businesses under their own individual identities and brands. In recognition of this, IAI had planned to develop and build it’s own network – a time consuming and potentially expensive strategy – but when the opportunity to link with the biggest and longest established international network became an option we opted for this as a preferred strategy.
