What is the Story with Skin Lightening Creams?
Dear Karen, I just dont know what to do with the sunspots that appear every summer. If I forget to wear sunscreen for just one day, those awful spots start to return. My skin has changed a lot since my younger days. Im now in my late 30s and I think the combination of taking birth control pills and sunbathing so much in my earlier years has created this awful mess for me. I recently started experimenting with skin lighteners that are over the counter and contain hydroquinone. I heard that this ingredient is very powerful on stubborn age and sun spots. Ive been using it for two months and have been very disappointed in the results, actually more like no results. My friend seems to think that the percentage of hydroquinone in the cream I purchase is too low. If thats the case, what is the right percentage I should be looking for?
