What is the story with monitors, printers & scanners?
Monitors and networked printers are generally replaced at the end of their useful life. These devices continue to meet the core needs for a longer time and it helps all of us to spend less money on these items. The Cascade Fund will provide a networked black and white printer for each work group and limited access to a networked color printer. Monitor replacement will have the same funding source as the associated desktop computer. Any scanners or other local or specialized hardware will be the responsibility of the department or individual to purchase. Information Services will help with the procurement process.
