What is the story behind the Fantastic Four?
The Fantastic Four are four friends on a scientific mission in space and were exposed to cosmic rays from which they developed superhuman powers. They’re superhumans not mutants, there is a difference. =Reed Richards developed powers of elasticity =Sue Storm can render herself invisible and create force fields =Johnny Storm became the human torch (self explanitory) = Ben Grimm became the thing, developed superhuman strength and endurance but also a rock like apperence. Victor VonDoom was on the mission with them and was also exposed to the rays but he chose a life of crime instead of justice, he is one of the most powerful villians in the Marvel Universe.
