What is the story behind MyFamilyDocuments?
Kara Kalra, a mom and school teacher from the suburbs of Atlanta, Ga., created MyFamilyDocuments to give her family and friends peace of mind, knowing that their critical documents and memorabilia were safe and organized in a reliable and affordable storage site. When Kara’s father died unexpectedly several years ago, her mother was unprepared. She didn’t know where they kept any of their critical documents such as their will, insurance information, or financial accounts. Adding to the enormous stress of Kara’s father’s death were the hours and hours of locating and sorting through all of the documents related to her parents’ lives. Kara was determined that she and her husband would not leave their children in the same predicament. Years later, Kara found herself exhibiting the same habits.
