What is the storage life of dried products?
Drying mushrooms, fruit, vegetables and meat, etc. eliminates most of their water content. Water is the main cause of mould and the main catalyser of the deterioration process of substances. By eliminating the water through drying we obtain a product that can be stored for more than a year, if kept in an airtight container away from the light (for example in glass jars in a cupboard).
