What is the status regarding full opening of the Netherlands’ postal market?
On 24 March the Dutch Senate voted in favour of full liberalisation of the Dutch postal market as of 1 April 2009. TNT has carefully prepared the company for full liberalisation and is ready to face increasing competition. The Government has provided guarantees for decent labour conditions, and to maximize its efforts to establish a level playing field on the European postal market as soon as possible. TNT will closely monitor these guarantees and welcomes the support of Parliament.
