What is the status of Third Eye Blind today?
Third Eye Blind are still together and tour sporadically. However, the question of whether or not Third Eye Blind are still signed to Elektra Entertainment, their label since 1997, appears to be a question mark. Elektra itself is a shadow of its former self, having been folded into fellow Warner Music Group label Atlantic on March 31, 2004 as part of a corporate shake-up in which much staff was laid off and many bands were dropped. The band was working on an EP in 2003-04, but plans for this may have been scrapped. Lately the band has been including new and unreleased material in its live sets, and a fourth album is reportedly in the works, but if, when, and how it will see release also remains a mystery.
