A. As some may already be aware, Florida is experiencing a drought right now and water conservation measures are in effect. Because of the drought, Lake Valrico is currently experiencing low lake levels. This has resulted in an overgrowth of some of the vegetation behind the property, making water access difficult. But when the rains return, vegetation becomes more managable and access becomes much easier. In fact, Hillsborough County will send air boats and helicopters out periodically to spray and help maintain the vegetation. This service is a part of what your county dollars pay for. The waterfront pictures on this website show what the property looks like when water levels are at normal levels.
