What is the status of the Independent Inquiry Report?
The Independent Inquiry Report sets out the findings of the Independent Panel, based on 17 public hearings and over 140 submissions to the Inquiry. It includes a number of recommendations that the Independent Panel considered would meet the Terms of Reference for the Inquiry and would ensure the long-term, secure provision of water supply and sewerage services to non-metropolitan NSW. The Independent Inquiry Report is an independent report and does not reflect the NSW Government position on the review of non-metropolitan water utilities. It has been placed on public exhibition in order to gain feedback from stakeholders and the community, before the development of a NSW Government position, which will take both the Inquiry Report recommendations and stakeholder submissions into account.
