What is the status of the data collection rule?

0

Based upon the comments from the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), three data elements have been removed from the list of required fields: MC032 – Claim Status, MC034 – Provider Specialty, and MC063B – Allowed Amount. According to the Minnesota rulemaking process, no further changes may be made to the data elements. It is anticipated that the rule will be published in the Minnesota register by mid-July. There will be no formal adjustment of the original submission date of July 1. To fulfill the July 1 submission requirements, submitters will be expected to be actively communicating and working with Onpoint Health Data during the month of July. The actual submission of data by July 1 is not required as long as communication is ongoing in July.
