The entire Cargill employee benefits class action has been settled through a series of three settlements. The first settlement was reached in May 2002. It provides relief solely to those class members who had been employed by MWD as “district temporary employees” (district temps or DTEs) and remained employed as of February 3, 2002. This settlement is referred to as “the Partial DTE Settlement”. The second settlement is class-wide and received court approval on June 12, 2006.
