What is the status of the African section?
The designs process in now underway. Construction at old Dudley Field will begin in 2005. Projected completion date is 2009. After that it will take some time to open all the exhibits since it is not possible or practical to get all animals in at one time. Every new animal must go through a quarantine period where several tests are done to ensure the animals good health.
