What is the status of SkyView terrain / obstacles / maps database, especially for worldwide?
As of version 2.6: • SkyView ships with a low-resolution terrain database of the entire world that augments regional high resolution databases. This should not ever require updating. • SkyView ships with a high-resolution terrain database of North America. High-resolution terrain databases for other regions can be downloaded at http://dynonavionics.com/docs/terrain.html. • SkyView ships with a “demo” version (not feature-complete) of Navigation Mapping Software, and we supply US FAA navigation data on our website updated every 28 days, for free. Navigation data for other regions will be available through Jeppesen starting with version 3.0. In a future software version (date and version number to be determined) of SkyView, Navigation Data will be fully functional and optional. • The Navigation Data Option will be a one-time purchase that will enable display of Navigation Data and advanced Navigation controls. • We will supply US FAA navigation data on our website updated every 28 days,
