As per the information available with Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, 28 States and UT Administrations have framed/enacted their respective State Rules under Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act 2000. These States/UT’s are in the process of setting up JJBs, CWCs and other institutional infrastructure for effective implementation of the Act.
