What is the status of an International Intern ?
VIE are subject to public law (non-contractual civil servant). In France, VIE are under the responsibility of the competent Ministry. Abroad, VIE are under the responsibility of the departments of the Embassy of France of their assignment country. The intern has the same obligations as any French civil servant abroad.
