Not sure about Michigan. However, in the states I know of once an arrest warrant is issued it is valid until served. That is, it won’t go away. It may get placed in some warrant repository but technically it could be served on you at anytime. You can clear this up by having it served on you. Contact whoever it is you owe money to (don’t forget there is a victim in all of this and it ain’t you) and offer to repay them. Contact the county Clerk of Court where the offense occurred and see if there is a way the warrant can be pulled if you make restitution to the victim.
