What is the standard rubric for class assignments?
Mr. OBriens Class Rubric 4 = Distinguished – (Exceeding Grade Level Standards) A student’s work shows (communicates) that they understand the task (concept). They use good thinking skills, and they have gone beyond the goals of the assignment. (They have mastered the objective). They are consistently exceeding the grade level standards. They have extended all work above and beyond the stated goals. They easily grasp and then extend key concepts. They can demostrate a deeper understanding of grade level standards. 3 = Proficient – (Meeting Grade Level Standards) Your work shows that you understand the task, you use some thinking skills, and you have met the goals of the assignment. (You have met the objective). You are consistently meeting the standards. You understand and can apply grade level concepts and skills (80% to 100% accuracy) You occasionally exceed the grade level standards. 2 = Apprentice – (Approaching Grade Level Standard) Your work is somewhat unclear, you are still work
