There is one trained counselor for every cabin group of 5-8 summer campers. In addition, there are 10-12 other trained camp staff members who ensure that campers are safe throughout the day.

Low camper-to-counselor ratios promote a safe atmosphere in which teamwork and individual expression flourish. We follow ACA guidelines of 8:1 ratios for residential camp and 10:1 ratios for day camps. Campers will never be without adult supervision in any situation.

While the ratio between cabin counselors and campers is approximately 1:6, with senior staff, faculty, and specialists, the total staff to camper ratio is close to 1:3.
