What is the St Andrews Hospital project?
Situated near to Bromley by Bow underground station, and within the gateway to the Olympic Zone, St Andrew’s Bow was identified by Tower Hamlets Council as a key site for high-density residential development. Barratts together with LDA and DfL developed the masterplan throughout 2007 -2008. Outline planning permission was granted for the whole scheme in April 2009. In November 2009, Phase 2 received detailed planning permission. Construction has begun on the first phase and will be delivered by April 2010 – this phase will include both smaller flats and larger family accommodation.
