What is the Spice Model for the probe and scope system?
As a first order approximation, using the probes input C and the probes Input R you have essentially a Thevenin equivalent of the probe and scope together. By using various basic formulas, you can make a first order approximation of the ring frequency, the combined system bandwidth and what characteristics that the supplied accessories add to the equivalent circuit. You must also take the DUT (Device Under Test) characteristics into consideration to complete the model. It is not feasible to develop detailed Spice Models because of all of the various devices under test and accessory combinations that can occur.
