The balusters are spaced 4-1/2″ on-center so the maximum gap between balusters is 3-7/8″. Most codes require that a railing can not allow a 4″ sphere to pass between the balusters. Deck Images Pro Series railing meets this requirement. Check for code requirements in your area.
