What is the source material for the Caregivers Resource Helpline ?
The primary source content for the Caregiver’s Resource Kit CDs and the automated voice-information Caregiver’s Resource Helpline is taken from Caring Families: How to care for your aging family. Two of the authors, James R. Cook, Ph.D and C.D. Fernald, Ph.D of the “Family Caregiver Project” at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Department of Psychology served as the subject matter experts and content advisors. As a result of their research, we identified and produced the most common concerns of caring for an aging parent or disabled spouse. They are broken down in the following five (5) Programs of Interest and thirty-two Topics of Interest. What is the advantage of a Senior Approved Service?
