What is the song Lindsey (Christian Kane) sings in “Dead End”?
The song is entitled L.A. and was written for the episode by Angel’s executive producer and co-creator David Greenwalt, it was recorded & performed by Christian Kane and Steve Carlson (guitarist from Chris’s band KANE). You can hear the complete studio version of L.A. on the CoA Media Player located in the Underground section of the CoA site, but it can not be downloaded due to copyright infringment. It’s just one of three great songs that David penned originally for the series during Season 3. Others include: The Cordy Show theme song (sung by David Greenwalt and Marti Noxon, Buffy’s executive producer) from “Birthday”, and Back in the Blue from the episode: “Sleep Tight”; where Lorne’s friend Kim sings the ‘I’ll-turn-demonic’ song in the Hyperion courtyard.
