The standard NutriSystem program contains approximately 1,800 mg/daily sodium. Note: Lower sodium for some individuals may need to be less than 1,800mg. Customers should contact NutriSystem Nutrition & Dietary services if they have a sodium restriction. We have formulated the Advanced program to be lower in sodium than the previous NutriSystem® Nourish® program. How much lower in sodium is dependent upon your grocery food selections.

The standard Nutrisystem program is between 1800 and 2000 mg of sodium per day which is below the USDA Recommended Daily Sodium intake of 2300mg. Actual sodium levels may vary based on which plan you choose and which grocery food items you add to your plan. Customers should contact Nutrisystem Nutrition & Dietary services if they have a sodium restriction and would like to customize their plan to restrict sodium below 1800mg.
