The Society of Michigan Rat Fanciers, also known as SMRF, is a non-profit club dedicated to improving the care and health of domestic rats and to educating the public on how wonderful rats can be as companion animals. We encourage responsible ownership and care and hope to improve the rat fancy in Michigan by stressing the importance of proper quarantine and ethical breedings. We are also here to provide a valuable and informative resource for rat owners everywhere, and to bring Michigan rat lovers together to have some fun for the cause!
