What is the snack policy?

A. All families will be assessed $30/year to fund snacks that will be set up by the teachers. Healthy snacks to include fruits, cheese, crackers, vegetables, yogurt, and water will be provided. Teachers will attempt to comply with food borne allergies but Sunnybeam does not guarantee the safety of the snacks. Sunnybeam asks that parents of children with food allergies check each day to verify that the snack is safe to serve to their child. An instruction sheet will be posted in the kitchen to ensure adequate communication for parents who must check their child’s snack. Parents of children with allergies may opt to provide their child’s own snack (and will not be assessed the $30 fee).
