My class will have a designated snack time each day. Snack is from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M. I usually have a small snack available if a student does not have one. Snack item donations are appreciated. Please see the back page for a list of acceptable snacks that can be donated. Snack Rules 1. Snacks need to be foods that are healthy and easy to handle. Snacks that require a spoon are often messy. 2. Your child may not bring candy for a snack. 3. Your child may only eat one snack during this time. 4. Drinks are not considered a snack. Water Bottles • Water bottles may contain only water, no colored drinks are allowed in class • The bottles must be taken home on Fridays to be washed. • If you freeze the bottle, please send it in a sock so that the condensation does not soil the desk and books. • Pop-top bottles are preferred. When screw top bottles spill, they soak everyones things.
