What is the small metal disk in my yard or driveway?
This is the water shut-off valve to your home. Seasonal settling can cause the valve (sometimes referred to as a curb box) to stick up above the surrounding ground and become a problem for lawn mowing or driving if it is in your driveway. Please contact the Utility Department at 952-227-1300 to have it adjusted. Do not try to push or pound the valve down yourself as this may result in a leak that could cause costly damage.
