What is the SLDS Program?
SLDS systems are intended to enhance the ability of States to efficiently and accurately manage, analyze, and use education data, including individual student records. These systems are intended to enhance the ability of Oregon school districts, education agencies, and ODE to efficiently and accurately manage, analyze, and use education data, including individual student records. The data systems that are part of the SLDS should help ODE, districts, schools, and teachers make data-driven decisions to improve student learning, as well as facilitate research to increase student achievement and close achievement gaps. The ODE Data Warehouse efforts are a part of the development of our SLDS and will provide a secure location for school district student data.
