What is the size of the Radiology Department? How is it organized?
The Department of Radiology is organized by modality, with subspecialties designated under distinct divisions. In addition, as Jefferson has grown in recent years, we have added additional staff members and organizational divisions to our satellite campuses. At present, the Department has a total over 425 employees, which includes our imaging staff, attending physicians, residents, fellows and clerical support staff. The majority of our staff are located at the Hospital in Center City Philadelphia. However, we now have personnel at the new Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience (the former home of Wills Eye Hospital, 9th & Walnut Streets, in Center City Philadelphia).
