WHAT IS THE SIZE OF ACBF PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS PORTFOLIO? WHAT IS THE EXTENT OF COUNTRY COVERAGE?
Since 1991, ACBF has approved a total of 101 grants. Some of the projects supported by these grants have usefully come to the end of their implementation phases. In May 2005, the ACBF Executive Board approved new funding amounting to US$7.975 million to support five national and two regional projects in sub-saharan Africa. The total number of on-going projects and programs at the moment is 80. In addition to the projects and programs, there are 26 National Focal Points for coordinating capacity building activities at the country level.
