It was on the 7th day God rested from His work of creation and it is the seventh day God sanctifies. In the Book of Revelation 7 is used a great deal, symbolically. Notice there are 3 sets of 7s all showing different aspects of God’s story —- THREE is the number of greatest EMPHASIS, when something is repeated THREE TIMES God is Holy, Holy Holy — that means He is extremely and transcendently HOLY! 666 in Revelation is 6 the number of man, because man was created on the sixth day, to the maximum emphasis. The number of the beast is 666 because the EMPHASIS in that kingdom will be MAN, MAN, MAN as over against God and dependence upon Him.
