What is the significance of the Trojan horse?
A Trojan Horse (or a Trojan) is a virus or malicious worm that hides itself inside of another, more innocent-looking file, like a .JPEG – in much the same way that soldiers from the Greek army hid themselves inside of a giant hollow horse, in order to be brought inside the unsuspecting city of Troy (leading to the Trojans’ defeat at the end of the decade-long Trojan war).
