What is the Sideline Student Safety Zone?

0

The Sideline Student Safety Zone is a joint effort of the University of Florida, the University of Georgia and the city of Jacksonville to provide an area where students visiting The Landing before, during and after the Florida-Georgia game can find assistance including basic medical help, first aid, transportation directions, telephone service, food, water, coffee and more. The Zone will be staffed by student affairs personnel from the two universities as well as staff from the City of Jacksonville. Each university is providing staff for the weekend, as is the City of Jacksonville. We have received support from a number of corporations who reinforce the goals of the Zone. Where is the Sideline Student Safety Zone? Behind Starbucks inside The Jacksonville Landing Friday: 4 p.m.-3 a.m. Saturday: Noon-3 a.m. The Zone located outside The Jacksonville Landing (Laura Street and Independent Drive) Friday: 4 p.m.- 3 a.m. Saturday: Noon-3 a.m. Behind the Welcome Center across from Jacksonville
