What is the Sick Policy?
Please be respectful of other parents & children do not attend a playgroup or other group activity if you or your child has or had any of these symptoms within the last 24 hours: – has a fever of 101.0F (orally) or higher in the past 24 hours. Your child must remain free of fever for 24 hours before attending an activity. – has vomited or has had diarrhea within the last 24 hours. – has a common cold with listlessness, discolored (green or yellow) nasal drainage, productive cough with green or yellow phlegm being coughed up, a persistent cough or sore throat. In general a person who catches a cold can spread it for 1 day before the symptoms appear and about 5 days after the cold symptoms begin. – exhibited any symptoms of childhood communicable diseases such as, but not limited to: chicken pox, measles, mumps, lice, 5th disease or hand, foot and mouth disease. – infected skin or eyes, or an undiagnosed rash (e.g. conjunctivitis, poison ivy, etc); children should not attend until the pr
