· The Sick Leave Bank is a bank of sick days contributed by and available to teachers who are members of the bank (excluding long-term subs). It’s an opportunity for you to help co-workers and at the same time gain additional insurance for yourself. Membership is voluntary · The Sick Bank is jointly administered by District Administration and the Exeter Township Education Association. · The days are available to members who have exhausted their accumulated sick days, and have met the specific withdrawal regulations listed in exhibit F of the teacher contract. · Contribution requirements are 1 sick or personal day per year. · The bank has been in operation since 1998 · Contributed days remain in the bank and cannot be withdrawn by any employee who retires, resigns from the district, or resigns from the bank. · For newly hired employees, membership is open August through Oct. 14th. Open enrollment occurs annually between May 15th and June 15th.
