What is the show “dead like me” about?
This girl named George dies in the first episode and has to join a group of people who are also dead. They’re grim reapers and their job is to take people’s souls right before they die. The show is full of ridiculous, untimely deaths. I watched the first season and it was okay but I didn’t like it enough to keep watching. Part of the storyline has George missing her family and trying to find ways to contact them. She also has to get a job and pay for rent and everything; it’s like she’s still alive but living people don’t recognize her because she looks like a different person than when she was alive. It’s kind of a weird show.
