Some of the most common types of shoulder surgeries include arthroscopic surgery, rotator cuff surgery and shoulder joint replacement surgery. While all three vary in their approach, the recovery process for most shoulder surgeries is similar. According to the National Institutes of Health, full recovery from shoulder surgery can take anywhere from one week to several months.
