What is the shelf life of the kit?
A. The time frame is dependent on the ‘run’ from the manufacturer. It may be as long as 7 months, but usually you will receive a kit with 3 or 4 months before expiration. Each kit has an expiry date on it. The date is written using the British system – meaning that it shows the day/month/year rather than our system of month/day year. Thus 6/2/94 on the kit would mean Feb.6/94 – not June 2/94. While the kit must be kept refrigerated, Control D must be kept frozen between uses, or it will expire 90 days after mixing it when you first open the kit.
