What is the shelf life of the cookies?

The Gingerbread cookies are at their best for a month after you receive them, and Shortbread is best for two weeks. Of course all cookies are best straight from the oven.

– After receiving your best darn cookies, they should be consumed in 5-6 days for maximum freshness. The shelf life is approximately 2 weeks. After this they can still be eaten but they may loose their soft texture. For optimum freshness make sure cookies are put in an air tight container or zip lock bag. For additional shelf life, freeze your cookies in an air tight container for up to 3 months! They taste great frozen or thaw for 30 minutes before serving. If you can’t wait, pop them in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds for warm soft cookies. Can I include a note with my order? – Absolutely yes. When you place your order there is an option for you to include a note. Still have questions? – Drop us a line. Go to our contact information page and e-mail us with your suggestions or questions.

Four months. We’ve kept the cookies for a year and noticed a few changes, but we wanted to give consumer freshest product possible. We also thought if the product didn’t sell for four months on shelf, then it didn’t deserve to be there. Are there any other products on the horizon? We’re working on fruit snacks that our client is interested in us launching with them. But one of the things I never realized in all my years as a researcher developing products for clients is, after the product has been developed, what a challenge it is to get it to market. One of the good things is that retail stores are realizing they need to develop a health category that isn’t drugs or vitamins, but where consumers can find good-for-you, wholesome types of foods.
