What is the shelf life of Folgers coffee?
24 months – at least for Folgers instant coffee. I keep a bottle handy for a “quick fix” but I
prefer Folgers classic roast which i mostly buy from Daily Cuppa Coffee – http://www.dailycuppacoffee.com/shop-by-brands/folgers.
To make sure you continue to have the freshest coffee experience possible, we’ve added “Best by” dates to all Folgers packages. To keep unopened coffee fresh after you bring it home, store it in a cool, dry place and use before the “Best by” date. Coffee used beyond its expiration date is safe to drink, but some of the flavor may be lost. Whole bean coffee can be kept frozen in an airtight container for six to 12 months.
