What is the shelf life of brown rice and brown rice products?
Rice is stable for at least one year after milling with proper storage. As with any natural grain, deterioration can be caused by heat, light, and pests. Transport and store at less than 55 degrees F and preferably in the dark in a pest-free environment. Customers should keep any whole grain product, including brown rice, refrigerated or in the freezer to guarantee a virtually unlimited shelf life.
