What is the shelf life of a pumpkin pie?
Be particularly careful with supermarket pies, many markets have a mix of pies baked at the store and factory-baked pies. Only a real factory has the equipment and processes to produce a pumpkin pie that can be kept on the shelf at room temperature, all other pies must be refrigerated. Look for the “RT” marking next to the “use by” date on the pie box to be sure.
