What is the Shania Twain Centre?
The Centre opened June 30th, 2001. The Centre is 11,500 square feet that includes a 4,000 square foot exhibit space. It also features a 1,200 square foot travelling exhibit space and a 1,000 square foot retail area, as well as a 1,500 square foot foyer area. Funding was provided by the Federal government through FedNor, the Provincial Government via the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund and through the Municipal government of the City of Timmins. The Shania Twain Centre is certainly multi-functional. As well as containing exciting Shania Twain displays, the Centre offers a facility rental for formal functions, gatherings, and caterings.
