What is the “sex industry” mailing list, what is its purpose, and what services does it offer?
Rosa Manzo: The list is designed to open up a venue for information, exchange and dialogue between people who are involved in research, support programs for sex workers , professionals, religious workers, etc., but most especially for sex workers themselves. There is very little information about Latinos in Europe. Most of it is bad or even worse if it has to do with those who have ties or work in the sex trade. This is why the list also includes Europeans and why it is written in Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian. I should mention that this list is the only link that has allowed us to exchange better experiences within the Latin American network, including the celebration of an event in Spain in 2002.
