What is the Service-Learning Leadership Academy and how would it work on our campus?
FL|CC: As stated in the RFP, the Service-Learning Leadership Academy is a student leadership development program FL|CC is looking to pilot in the upcoming year. It can be implemented in a variety of ways depending on how the educational institution determines the program will succeed on their campus. This can include making it part of a freshman experience class, senior capstone project, or supplements to current service-learning and/or leadership classes. FL|CC can assist in the creation of a leadership team to guide the strategic planning of the Academy. The leadership team would develop a well-coordinated series of planning sessions to determine the direction, scope, and reach of the Academy.
