What is the Service Factor (SF) of an eletrical motor?
To ensure the right rotation, cables connections are marked with a little label applied on each supply cable wire; if labels are lost, probably the supply cable are not correctly connected to the electrical line (R-U; S-V; T-W) so, the motor turn in the right way but the magnetic field inside stator has to be compensated by a higher current. It is necessary to try to reverse motor cables connection on the terminal box up to find the right rotation way and the right input current.
