What is the senior colloquium like?

0

The Senior Colloquium offers senior cognitive science majors a chance to meet regularly with the cognitive science Chair, and with one another, to discuss their senior projects. During the fall semester, the Colloquium meets regularly to discuss classic books and papers in cognitive science, recent cognitive science journal articles, work by members of the Yale cognitive science faculty, and research by seminar members. During the spring semester, the colloquium meets weekly to allow students to discuss work on their thesis projects with the cognitive science Chair and with other Colloquium participants. Note that the Senior Colloquium is a requirement of the major, that it meets at a specified time (traditionally on Wednesday afternoons from 4-6 pm), and that students will need to adjust their senior-year schedules accordingly.
