What is the Selling Broker Generally Paid?
In Southeastern Wisconsin, most companies offer 2.4% of the purchase price to the company selling their listing but in some cases, markets will vary. You may offer less than 2.4% but it may discourage some brokers or agents from showing your property. It might be in your best interest to offer even a higher rate, perhaps as high as 3% which could create an incentive for more showings.
